Google Photo Backup

These days, most people take photos using their smartphones. For this reason, people carry their photos everywhere they go on their smartphones. Google Photo Backup – How To Use The Photo App

To be able to make use of the photo app from Google+, you are required to have a Google account. Once you have the Google account, you are required to sign in. When signing in for the first time, Google asks whether you would like to automatically create a backup for your photos. By agreeing to back up your photos, you enable the photo app.

To adjust settings:

  • On this screen, you can choose ‘auto backup’ from the top of your screen.
  • There is a switch on the top right side, flip it from off to on.

With these few steps, you will have activated the photo backup feature. Once the app is activated to backup your photos, you can play around with the settings. You can change when to uploads photos, photo resolution and the types of photos to backup. It is very important to set the photos to only be backed up over Wi-Fi connection. This choice can be selected from the ‘backup settings’ tab.

Why the Google photo backup app is ideal for use

While there are several other photo backup options available, none of them can offer features and functionality like the Google photo backup app. With this app, it is possible to view all your images from the web through Google+. All you have to do is navigate to Google+ and go to the photos page to find all the photos that were automatically added. By default, these photos are set as private.
